…taking a different approach

Prestige Sound Southampton is a front of house live audio engineering specialist - taking a different approach to other PA providers. Launched in 2020, Prestige had two goals: to provide high quality and sensibly priced FOH and Engineer consistency for smaller theatre based Tribute Shows; and to create much needed work for a graduate Engineer.

Prestige occupies a unique space in the PA provider and Live Sound Engineer market - providing a experienced and educated Audio Engineers, with a passion for production sounds to work directly with tribute shows and bands, and we have as much experience as musicians and event organisers as we do Engineers. This gives us a unique perspective on what you and your musicians need for a successful show, and from a professional Front of House team.

Prestige Sound places an emphasis on just that: a prestigious sound using Presonus' mixing systems and a lovely Yamaha DXR PA, run by a professional and educated Audio Engineer who places a special emphasis on production sound, comfort of the band and the audience experience.

Prestige focuses on developing relationships with smaller scale live music performances, but we are also available for public address, parties, community fetes, small community festivals and beyond.

GT
Audio Engineer

GT has been working with Dave for a number of years as a freelance engineer, and was a primary choice to be a backup engineer, taking the jobs that the primary engineers can't attend.

GT has been working part time in the industry for a very long time and is a very capable, astute, experienced and knowledge audio engineer.

He's worked everything from small theatre shows to large festivals - there's few engineers that we would trust as much as we do GT to uphold the principles of service and sound quality that Prestige strives for.

Although primarily out backup engineer, GT is currently the primary on the Seriously Collins shows.

JP
Audio Engineer

JP is a Audio Engineer, Producer and Classical guitarist from Portsmouth and has been working with Prestige since 2021.

JP is an incredibly hard working and knowledgable audio engineer with a terrific ear and passion for production sound.

We works weekly on the DSUK and Classic Rock Revival shows, and jumping in with Seriously Collins, and does a terrific job each time.

He's an asset to Prestige and an engineer that you can trust with your FOH.
